An 11-year-old boy reported that he was offered a ride from a stranger Tuesday morning as he walked near Saugatuck Road and Circle Drive East in Boulder Hill.
The boy said that around 8:30 a.m. a man in a blue, Dodge Caravan approached him and asked him if he wanted a ride. The victim said no, and the suspect drove away.
Kendall deputies said the suspect was described as a white man, between 30 and 40 years old, with brown hair.
Deputies said the incident appears to be isolated, and no similar reports have been filed. Anyone with information pertaining to this case should call the Kencom Dispatch Center at 630-553-5856.
