Kendall County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a fight in progress at a Bristol Township home early Sunday morning, and charged a 20-year-old Plano woman with battery.
The fight occurred at 2:45 a.m. in the 100 block of West Rickard Drive. Police said. Rashunae Negre, 4000 block of Cummings Street, was charged with battery and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Police said several other people fled the scene.
A vehicle’s windshield was smashed out during the fight, and Negre said she was struck in the head with a beer bottle by an unknown man.
Deputies said Negre had allegedly battered a woman following a verbal altercation between them. Negre fled the scene and was taken into custody near Route 71 and Orchard Road.
Aurora
One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 1:47 p.m. Saturday near East New York Street and Asbury Drive, police said. Derek Harris, no age or address provided, was charged with failure to yield after striking a vehicle while making a U-turn. Javier Martinez, no age or address provided, was taken to an Aurora hospital with injuries after his vehicle was struck.
Hilario Valtierra-Alvarez, 55, 2100 block of Walcott Road, Aurora, was charged with drunken driving, failure to signal, driving on a flat tire, and no insurance at 2:32 a.m. Saturday near Walcott Road and Waterford Drive, police said.
Irma Gonzalez, 38, 300 block of Bevier Place, Aurora, was charged with drunken driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving on a suspended licence and no insurance at 6:46 a.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of North Highland Avenue, police said.
Tavaris Harland, 23, of Bolingbrook, was charged with felony retail theft at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the 2900 block of Kirk Road, police said.
Alex Tan, 22, 1600 block of North East Drive, Aurora, was charged with unlawful possession of another person’s credit card,and unlawful use of another person’s credit card at 6:05 p.m. Friday near Grove Street and Beckwith Street, police said.
Litzet Rojas, 20, 700 block of East Galena Boulevard, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, illegal transportation of liquor,and driving on a suspended/revoked license at 8:20 p.m. Thursday near East Galena Boulevard and North Root Street, police said.
Yorkville
Charles King III, 46, 0-99 block of Chippewa, Oswego, was charged with drunken driving at 2:01 a.m. Saturday in the 0-99 block of West Veterans Parkway, police said.
Jason Reyes, 34, of Sugar Grove was taken to an Aurora hospital with injuries after he struck a deer while driving near Route 47 and Cornelius Road at 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
