No one was injured early Thursday morning when gunshots rang out in Aurora.

According to Aurora Police Department spokesman Dan Ferrelli, it was around 3:40 a.m. when a home in the 1700 block of Ravine Park Lane was struck by bullets.

Ferrelli said no one witnessed or heard any vehicles leaving from the scene, and that the shots appear to have been fired from a park directly in front of the home that was struck by bullets.

Police do not believe that the home was the target of the shooting. No one inside the home was injured, but the bullets caused about $700 in damage, police said.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Aurora police investigators at 630-256-5500, or Crime Stoppers at 630-892-1000.
