The search of an Aurora home turned up thousands of dollars in cocaine and Ecstasy last week, police said.
On Thursday evening, Aurora police officers executed a search warrant on a home in the 300 block of Melrose Avenue.
Two residents, Jose Marungo, 36, and Joe Rueda, 28, were taken into custody after 44 grams of suspected cocaine and .42 grams of suspected Ecstasy were discovered, police said.
Scales and other items the pair allegedly used to package drugs were also located and seized.
Police said the cocaine had a street value of $3,852, and the Ecstasy was worth $547.
A total of $391 in cash was also taken from the home, police said.
Marungo was charged with manufacturing/delivering cocaine, a Class X felony. Rueda was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, police said.
